Arthur Carmazzi established the Arthur Carmazzi Foundation in 2003 to reflect his heartfelt commitment to give back to the community by “helping misunderstood young people do great things” through research and education. Due to Arthur’s history and even current handwriting and spelling challenges, Arthur offers free programs for schools where youths have difficulty in fitting in to the mainstream. Since its beginning, the foundation has helped thousands of youths across Asia to redirect their focus, get better school facilities and change their direction in life. Due to the influence of one teacher in 8th grade, Mr Backus, who helped Arthur to understand his challenges were not limiting his ability to take on greater ambitions, Arthur’s destiny was redirected. Arthur on behalf of the foundation has received the honor of the Round Table Foundation and Louis Marchesi Fellow.
